Life in TEMESCAL...

Temescal is an established residential and commercial north Oakland neighborhood that is filled with many early twentieth-century bungalows. The neighborhood stretches from 36th to 55th streets, and from Hwy 24 to Broadway. Telegraph Ave. is the main thoroughfare, complete with hip (and delicious!) restaurants, bars and cafes. Many boutiques call Temescal home, as does the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital at the far western edge of the district.

Temescal is a thriving urban neighborhood that stands out for it’s racial and cultural diversity, and has become a very sought-after neighborhood to live in for its perfect mix of tree-lined streets and bustling commercial centers. With close proximity to both Rockridge and MLK BART stations, it is also attractive to San Francisco and downtown Oakland commuters.
